New Year's Eve in Market Square

    This year (as we do each year) Paula and I, along with Bill and Carol Hamilton, Jake Swanger, and another friend, went downtown to watch the dropping of the strawberry and the fireworks show. Although it was raining slightly, we had a lot of fun and the rain kept away many people so it wasn’t as crowded as in previous years. Although, it takes a lot of motivation to “get your butt in gear” around 10:30pm and drive downtown, sometimes fighting inclement conditions, once there, the excitement and energy kicks in and everyone has a good time.
