NOSTALGIA DRIVE-IN NIGHT

September 5, 2009 (Saturday)

The location is, as last year, Haar’s Drive-In, 185 Logan Rd., Dillsburg, PA. We found out last year that Haar’s has a really serious old-school concession stand with virtually every kind of food, snack and drive-in culinary must-have that you could imagine.

Participants will meet at the field next to the drive-in entrance (look for your classmates’ cars…) and if we’re lucky, like last year, we’ll all roll in together. With any further luck, we’ll also have weather just as good as last year. Price is the same as last year: $7 per person payable at the old-style ticket booth. For those who tend to think cosmically this is a fair-weather outing only, nota bene.

We’ll meet at 7:30. Double feature every night, so you get a chance to be edgy (both films) or fogey (gee, we have to go…) with no penalty. The idea, as has been the guiding light for The Class of the Century, is to meet and have fun. Let’s do it!
